Your team is guided step-by-step to create their own bonsai, terrarium or floral arrangement — no experience needed.

Join us in Redfern (4–30 guests), or we can bring the full experience to your office or event space (20–100 guests). Please note workshops at your location may incur extra travel, production and staff costs depending on your requirements.
Greenhouse Terrarium — $110–$130pp · 1hr · Min 6 guests · Build a self-contained miniature garden in glass. Calm, detailed, and highly engaging.
Succulent Terrarium — $100pp · 1hr · Min 8 guests · Low-maintenance and visually striking. Ideal for larger groups or tighter budgets without sacrificing quality.
Ikebana Flower Arranging — $100pp · 1hr · Min 8 guests · Learn the Japanese art of Ikebana in a calm, hands-on setting — creating a considered composition that reflects nature's balance and beauty.
Australian Wildflower Arranging — $189pp · 1.5hr · Min 4 guests · Work with seasonal native blooms to create a natural, expressive arrangement to take home.
Bonsai for Beginners — $195pp · 1.5hr · Min 4 guests · Learn the foundations of bonsai and create your own living tree. A guided, hands-on experience with a lasting result.
All workshops are available in-studio (4–30 guests) or at your location (20–100 guests). Workshop run times may vary with larger groups and depending on your requirements.

You can call us at 0499 496 100 or email service@merchantandgreen.com.au to discuss your preferred workshop, date, time and group size. Payment in full is required to confirm your date/time. Final guest numbers and any final balance payment are due 7 days prior to your workshop date. We recommend booking at least 3–1 months in advance to secure your preferred date, though we may be able to accommodate last-minute requests depending on availability.
Workshops held in our studio can cater to groups of min 4 to max 30 guests. For at your location bookings, we can accommodate min 20 - max 100 participants, making them suitable for both small teams and larger corporate events.
You can reschedule for free up to 7 days before your class. If you need to reschedule with less than 7 days' notice, a rebooking fee of 20% will apply. We do not offer cancellations or refunds for private group booking, we're happy to assist with rescheduling whenever possible, subject to availability.
Please note booking at your location may incur extra fees to cover travel, staffing and expenses, reach out with your details and we are happy to give you a quote.
Our Redfern studio is at 686 Bourke Street, Redfern NSW 2016. Street parking is available nearby, and there is free 2-hour parking at Surry Hills Village Shopping Centre, just a 5-minute walk. For public transport, the Surry Hills Light Rail stop on Devonshire Street is about a 10-minute walk from the studio.
We understand some team members cant make it to the workshop at the last minute, while we are unable to refund for guests that dont attend on the day, we can supply a completed bonsai, terrarium or flower arrangement for you to take away for them.
