Learn how to make a DIY planted Bonsai (yours to keep), in this interesting, hands-on and easy plant workshop in Sydney!
Did you know, Bonsai is a Japanese technique of styling and caring for a tree in a pot? These little trees take almost no effort to maintain, and can easily live for many years if you follow the tips from this class.
Held at Merchant & Green Redfern, you`ll be surrounded by plants, and be provided with premium ingredients, including a choice of Asian style ceramic pots, mini trees, potting mix and decorative stones and moss.

Learn the basics, with an easy-to-follow step by step demonstration, and the team will give you one-on-one feedback and tips along the way. We have a range of Bonsai supplies available for purchase on the day, including bonsai scissors, pots and wire, so you can take them home and continue to create more.
This is an interactive and relaxing class, and you`ll have plenty of time to ask questions. Take away your very own handcrafted Bonsai plant, a Bonsai information sheet, a memorable experience, as well as knowledge and skills enabling you to build more Bonsai by yourself.
Just let us know the number of guests and a couple of options for date and time. We will get back to you to confirm if we are available and complete your booking.
We also take bookings for PRIVATE GROUP WORKSHOPS in our studio. Minimum - 6 guests - 20 guests, price is $195pp. Send us a message with your name, telephone number, how many guests and 2 preferred dates/start times. We will get back to you with options and confirm your booking with payment.

Please note all workshop bookings are non refundable, but you can reschedule your class date up to 48hrs in advance. Guests that cancel with short notice or are a no show on the day, can contact us to collect the materials form the class or rebook for an additional fee of $35pp.
